David Yuhasz - Founding Principal

Architect OAA, MRAIC, B.f.a., B.Arch.

David has considerable versatility in a range of building typologies both nationally and internationally. This exposure has provided him with the ability to adapt as the context and situation dictates, from a contemporary aesthetic to culturally sensitive or regional approaches to design.

David has a seasoned perspective with the ability to communicate and operate within the industry providing confidence at all levels.

Jason Kipfer - Founding Principal

Architectural Technologist, C.E.T., LEED AP, BCIN Designer

Jason is adept at the art of wearing many hats as is so frequently required in an architecture practice.  He is responsible for implementing the hardware and software technologies that drive the business and streamline its processes, is the partner in charge of HR, and is the voice behind Zedd's social media platforms.

While often found coveting the office hard copy of the OBC, sustainability and social responsibility are the key values often used as metrics in Jason’s decision making process. He has a strong desire to impact his community through smart, innovative, sustainable design.

Mario Majzoub - Principal

Architect OAA, MRAIC, LEED AP, B. Arch

Mario leads the multi-unit residential (MURB) design department at Zedd. With over 25 years experience, he has earned a reputation for his innovative design solutions in high-profile commercial and residential projects.  He has deep experience in planning, design and construction of commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, retail, residential and urban design projects.  

Mario is passionate about creating architecture that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. He seeks design innovation by weaving new materials, technology and environmental responses into his designs and as a LEED-accredited professional has a proven track record of delivering cost-effective and sustainable solutions.

Max Sim - Architectural Technologist

Dipl. Arch. Tech., BCIN

Max is a driving force behind Feasibility Planning at Zedd.  His architecture career was motivated by countless hours of Lego and the Sims (go figure...). Since then he has logged many hours in the RAIC Syllabus program in his pursuit to become a licensed architect. He has an avid interest in urban planning, keeps our team educated through organizing in-house CPD sessions and is one of only 3 known people who can decipher David Yuhasz’s writing. He describes his dream project to be an adaptive reuse project where sleek modern elements are integrated into an historical building. Aside from drinking a lot of coffee, Max is known for being able to juggle multiple projects while maintaining his sanity. 

David Huston - Achitectural Technologist

B. Arch. Sci, Dipl. Arch. Tech

David is Zedd's indispensable Code & Technology master.  He was drawn to the ‘rhythm’ he found in great works of architecture and was inspired to study the underlying order that formed the proportions and scale. He eagerly jumps into each project, ready to absorb the new challenges while applying the knowledge he has picked up on the way. Always looking for ways to improve a project, David who was once known for making the best lattes in the office, has become the go-to resource in the office for the constantly changing planning, accessibility and code related requirements.
